After having invested in Bucharest, Timisoara and Cluj, Vabeld has now purchased land located in Slatina, a city located in the south of the country. The property is strategically located next to the impressive Pirelli factory.

In Cluj (Turda), Vabeld sold the factory rented to ACS, a supplier to the automotive industry, to the tenant.

Vabeld has acquired an industrial land of more than 50 hectares in Turda, just south of Cluj-Napoca, Romania’s second largest city. The site is strategically located close to a highway junction and excellent for both industrial and logistics use. Soon after the acquisition was closed, roughly one third of the site was sold on to Hettich, a German manufacturing company. Vabeld is now working with its long term partners for the permitting of the remaining land.

At the beginning of 2020, Vabeld has sold its only asset in Germany. Vabeld developed a manufacturing and logistics center for the Joris Ide company in Ansbach in 2012-2013. The project involved the purchase of 10 hectares of land and the construction of 2 individual warehouses.
With the acquisition of the company Joris Ide by Kingspan, market leader in insulation panels, the tenant’s real estate strategy changed as Kingspan prefers to own their premises and a sale purchase agreement was reached.
