The property had been targeted for several years and was owned by a listed fund, whose only property this was. The majority of the shareholders voted in favour of the transaction during a general assembly held in January and the transaction was completed in March. The property has a major frontage onto Rua Uruguaiana and is rented to Leader, one of Brazil’s largest department stores.
